11.13.05 - More news!? As the holidays approach Research & Development has been hard at work. Today we unveil a revolution in Sewdorky faux felt donuts! After many requests, the new Sewdorky Maple Bar and its cousin the Choco Bar make their duel debut at the donut shop! Hope you dig 'em! (P.S. at least one more new item to follow shortly... so check back!)

11.08.05 - Following a lovely response at the UCU, Sewdorky's Non-Fabric Division Painting Gallery is open for business. Witness the donut obsession grow...

10.18.05 - The coolio eat.shop travel guides features Sewdorky and the always awesome Schmancy in the all new edition of eat.shop.seattle! If you aren't familiar with these books, your guide Kaie Wellman features super excellent indie businesses to check out in hep cities 'round the crunchy.

08.07.05 - Bring It On! Sewdorky won 2005 People's Pick honorable mention as Seattle's Best Doughnut at NWSource! Not too shabby for our humble faux donuts running against the real full-calorie deal! Thank you people of Seattle (and anyone else who voted), we love you!

 

07.28.05 - Damn, Sewdorky's been busy! First off: Hello L.A.! Sewdorky is now available at the brand spankin' new store - CITY at 519 S. Olive Street. Hollywood superstardom is just around the corner.

#2. Sewdorky's preparing for a big coupla months - in August it's the gala Plush You! show at Schmancy, Septmember's Bumbershoot with the Bluebottle posse and November brings the Urban Craft Uprising, a new show that should totally rock the entire Pacific Northwest into rubble.

#C. The Sewdorky Factory is moving! Yep, we bought a house! Check out the garage... AKA future home to the Sewdorky Manufacturing Plant. (needs a little dusting, hmm?)

And finally #4. Sewdorky met three of our idols this past week both members of Harry and the Potters and the very next day, Jasper Fforde. Needless to say I was utterly starstruck.

And another thing! The Artist's Merchantile in beautiful Glenwood Springs, Colorado now carries Sewdorky Donuts! Below is the picturesque city of Glenwood Springs (the arrow represents a totally uneducated guess as to where you might find the Artist's Merchantile)

03.30.05 - Yo, give it up for awesome Schmancy! Check out their ad in the latest issue of Bust magazine (featuring our delicious Sewdorky Neopolitan!)

03.17.05 - Our first cover feature!! Seattle's finest weekly - the Stranger - almost subliminaly featured our humble lil' web home (you gotta look really really closely... Let's hear it for 8pt ALLCAPS type)!

02.21.05 - The shop is open and... Hey, our first online sale (to my brother)! Thanks bro.

02.10.05 - Picked as New and Noteable Site of the Day at Yahoo!

01.24.05 - Hey, Sewdorky thanks everyone for such a warm welcome to the web. In the near future we'll be updating the site with more swanky design improvements and a purchasing system to buy direct.
